- Purchases/Sales: We have represented institutional and individual property owners and purchasers in the acquisition and sale of property, including vacant land, multi-unit residential complexes, industrial properties, shopping centers, hotels and office buildings.
- Leasing: We have represented both landlords and tenants in a full range of leasing and lease-related matters, ranging from fairly straightforward leases to complex, heavily negotiated transactions and equity participations for spaces in excess of 100,000 square feet. Properties have included Class A downtown office space, suburban industrial/warehouse space, local strip center retail space and large regional mall retail space.
- Development/Construction: We have represented developers in a wide range of commercial ventures, including the development of residential communities, development of retail and mixed use commercial projects, ground leases with big box retailers, recording easements and other covenants running with the land and tax incentives.
- We have negotiated construction documents and are very familiar with AIA documents and the pitfalls they can contain if not negotiated carefully. We have also structured and set up procedures to avoid mechanic’s lien claims for owners and lenders in construction settings.
